Keda/Potency KMS810 Anchor Cable Installation Vehicle is an innovative piece of specialized equipment that has been developed for the directional installation of anchor cables in soft rock and large deformation tunnels, such as those found in the Muzhailing Tunnel.
This state-of-the-art equipment has been jointly developed with the owner, the research team of Southwest Jiaotong University, and the construction party China Railway Tunnel Bureau. Keda/Potency KMS810 Anchor Cable Installation Vehicle seamlessly integrates key processes such as drilling, anchoring agent installation and mixing, anchor cable feeding, pre-tensioning, and measurement, and grouting.
As the first equipment of its kind in China, it has proved to be an effective solution for the installation of anchor cables in large deformation tunnels.
A unique rock drilling propulsion structure is used to achieve the feeding and mixing functions of anchor cables. To improve the system, an auxiliary feeding device is designed that can perform simultaneous feeding and mixing actions. This makes the process more efficient than ever before.
The mixing work stroke measures 2 meters, making it easy to install anchor cables in even the most challenging environments. With this improved system, workers can quickly and safely install anchor cables in areas that might have been difficult to access in the past.
During anchor cable mixing, the propulsion speed is a reliable and consistent 3m/min. This steady pace makes it easy to install anchor cables quickly and accurately. Workers can rely on the system to complete their work efficiently and safely.
The anchor cable mixing rotation speed exceeds 300rpm, providing ample power and torque to push through even the toughest of materials. This helps ensure that the anchor cable is securely installed and able to withstand the forces placed upon it over time.

The engineering chassis is a four-wheel drive system that can climb up to 22 degrees and reach a maximum walking speed of 20km/h. It has four-wheel steering and a minimum turning radius of 3m (inner side)/6m (outer side), making it an ideal choice for navigating tight turns and narrow pathways.
